Golf fan yells “cheater” as Patrick Reed misses playoff putt in Hawaii: video
The first PGA Tour event of the year finished in dramatic circumstances including one boisterous golf fan yelling “cheater!” at Patrick Reed.
Justin Thomas somehow won the Sentry Tournament of Champions in dramatic fashion surviving a three-way playoff with Xander Schauffele and Patrick Reed.
With his golf game falling apart, Justin Thomas got it done despite finding the penalty area on the 72nd hole.
After Schauffele fell out of the tournament with bogey on the first playoff hole, most of the golf world was not so much hoping for a Justin Thomas victory, but hoping Patrick Reed wasn’t going to win.
The incident that saw Reed penalised two-strokes for improving his lie in a bunker isn’t going away.

It wasn’t the only cheating accusation yelled at Reed during the tournament with some suggesting it happened during each round.
What we’re wondering is what was Patrick Reed’s caddie doing during all of this?
It’s going to be a long year for both of them.
The boisterous fan is not as clear in the official PGA Tour highlights with the voiceover but here they are anyway. It was a great, tense finish to the first tournament of the year and worth watching.
