New golf documentary points the lens at some of the best young golfers on the planet.
The Short Game follows some of the world’s best 7-year-old golfers as they compete at the World Championships. According to the official website:
Each year, the world’s best 7 year-old golfers descend on Pinehurst, North Carolina to compete in the World Championships of Junior Golf. THE SHORT GAME is a feature documentary that follows eight of these very young athletes on their quest to become the sport’s next phenom.
Golf is a game where it does pay to start early. The documentary looks like a bit of fun and I hope the kids and perhaps more importantly the parents, don’t take the game too seriously. We know what Miguel Angel Jimenez would think of it if they did.
No word on an Australian release but I’m guessing you’ll be able to pick it up on DVD or through online movie sites in the new year.
