Coober Pedy’s grassless golf course featured on Adventures in Golf

Coober Pedy Opal Fields Golf Course is in the spotlight in the latest episode of Adventures in Golf.

We mentioned last week that the first episode of the new season of Adventures in Golf (Season 3) with Erik Anders Lang has landed on Skratch TV. But we thought we should share the love about the second episode too, as it features a whacky golf course in Australia.

The opal mining town of Coober Pedy in South Australia is one strange place. And the Coober Pedy Opal Fields Golf Club is also a little strange as Erik finds out and it has that quirk of being the only golf course in the world that has reciprocal rights with St Andrews.

Although as I understood the story, it wasn’t ever made clear that they had reciprocal rights to the Old Course – just the nine holer nearby.
