Clarke uses Claret Jug to escape speeding ticket

Darren Clarke was pulled over this week for speeding. He was pulled over by the police on his drive from Belfast to Killarny on his way to play in this week’s Irish Open.

Irish Golf Desk reports that the Gardaí stopped Clarke in his €200,000 Ferrari on Monday and were aghast when they realised who was in the car.

They asked if he had the Claret Jug with him. He did, posed for a photo and drive off, scot free.
