Australian golf fans get first access to the PGA Tour’s GOLFTV

Australian golf fans are the first in the world to get access to the newly launched GOLFTV.

A partnership between the PGA Tour and Discovery means that for a monthly subscription, Australian golf fans can now get live coverage of every PGA Tour event, and all up, around 2,000 hours of live content each year, covering around 150 tournaments

GOLFTV has launched in just a few countries with Australia joining Canada, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia and Spain in its initial phase.

GOLFTV has told me that the launch is still very much in beta phase and some functions are not yet available, but Australians have access to two types of subscriptions; Basic subscription and Premium subscription.

The Basic subscription costs 9.99 AUD per month and 89.99 annually, whilst the Premium subscription costs 19.99 AUD monthly and 179.99 AUD annually.

More details on the GOLFTV subscription can be found here.
