Aussie Golfer’s 10 most popular stories from 2014

We’ve had record numbers here at Aussie Golfer in 2014. Every year we have more and more fun with the site that sees more and more readers stopping by each year.

The year 2014 was a beauty with Rory McIlroy dominating world golf headlines winning two majors; The Open Championship and the US PGA Championship, as well as winning the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and the European Tour’s BMW Championship.

It was a great year for the Australians too. Six Aussies won on the US PGA Tour; Adam Scott, John Senden, Jason Day, Steven Bowditch, Matt Jones and Geoff Ogilvy. Other great Aussie performances included Karrie Webb’s dramatic Women’s Australian Open victory, Australia winning the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship and Anthony Murdaca winning the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship to book himself a spot at next year’s Masters Tournament.

On top of that we made sure you got a dose of more rules reminders, the odd golf tip and plenty of fun golf stuff from around the world.
