Justin Thomas showed us how to close out a golf tournament by holing out for eagle in the final hole of the WGC Mexico Championship.
Arriving at the final hole of the WGC Mexico Championship, world number two Justin Thomas was tied for the lead and with Tyrrell Hatton and Phil Mickelson a few holes behind.
Hoping to set a good score and claim the clubhouse lead, Thomas went birdie hunting – but ended up going one better.

Thomas’ tournament score of 16-under par was good enough to get him into a playoff along with Phil Mickelson.
Ultimately it wasn’t quite the fairytale finish he was hoping for though as a bogey at the first playoff hole saw Mickelson claim his first victory since winning The Open Championship in 2013.
