2013 Presidents Cup: Adam Scott and Jason Day face off on the ping-pong table

There are some other competitive matches going on at The Presidents Cup – on the ping-pong table.

Most of the team bonding before a Presidents Cup’s happens around a ping-pong table, and this year’s event at Muirfield Village is no different.

The International Team’s Graham DeLaet tweeted a photo of Jason Day and Adam Scott battling it out on the table tennis table earlier today along with a few words that make it sound like he’s having the time of his life.

The International Team needs all the team bonding it can get.

Playing as a team just once every two years with a mix of players from South Africa, Canada, Australia, Japan, Argentina and Zimbabwe, the task of unifying the International Team is much more difficult than for the US Team.

The US Team is also known to spend time before the Ryder Cup and The Presidents Cup around a ping-pong table. Matt Kuchar is known as the best player on the team and he, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods were snapped playing ping-pong at the 2011 Presidents Cup in Melbourne.
