Adam Scott wants to inspire Australian cricket team: video

Adam Scott chats to the media ahead of the 2013 Open Championship.

Adam Scott achieved some sort of redemption at Augusta following his disastrous final four holes at the 2012 Open Championship, but it’s clear from this video he has unfinished business at Muirfield.

Scott mentions he chatted to Tom Watson about his Open Championship meltdown during a practice round at last year’s Australian Open.

“I played a practice round with Tom Watson at the Australian Open last year and he waited seven holes to bring up what happened at The Open.”Scott said.

“And I told him what he thought and he said that he let one slip early in his career and he said he would never let that happen again. He would just be tough and want it so badly.”

Incidentally, Aussie Golfer questioned Tom Watson on this early career loss at last year’s Australian Open and he answered with a steely look that had me shaking in my chair.

Scott finishes the press conference by adding he is laying a little low in the UK at the moment after Australia’s narrow defeat to England in the first test of the Ashes.

“It’s a tough time being an Aussie over here at the moment,” Scott said smiling.
